MVTec Software GmbH will showcase its machine vision solutions during embedded world 2024 (Booth 454, Hall 2) where it will bring its motto, "Embedded Vision = YOUR Hardware + OUR Software." Highlighted will be software that aids in smart cameras and sensors.

Munich. MVTec Software GmbH released two versions of 22.11 of its HALCON standard machine vision software, the Steady edition, and a Progress edition. With 3D Gripping Point Detection technology, the HALCON 22.11 has the ability to distinguish surfaces where suction gripping can be applied ridding the need to train differing surfaces. “The 3D Gripping Point Detection…offers an easy way to efficiently automate a complex application,” says Mario Bohnacker, Technical Product Manager HALCON at MVTec.

HALCON 22.11 has a planned release of Novenmber 22, 2022 with a new feature enabling bin picking of foreign objects. 

MVTec Software GmbH is partnering with AAEON Technology Inc. and Basler AG to provide an easy-to-use machine vision bundle with integrated deep learning technologies.

MVTec Software GmbH released MERLIC 5, the new version of its all-in-one machine vision software. The software is designed to enable complete machine vision applications to be created without having to write a single line of code.

MVTec has published version 21.05 of its HALCON machine vision software, which includes a new Generic Shape Matching feature and improvements in the Deep Learning Framework, subpixel bar code reading, optical character recognition (OCR), and the IDE itself.
