With the VN4610 and test tools like CANoe.Car2x, engineers can analyze messages that would otherwise be rejected by the ECU due to timing, geographical, or V2X protocol errors, as well as latency.
STUTTGART, GERMANY. Vector has announced the VN4610 network interface test tool for IEEE-802.11p and CAN-FD-based applications. It satisfies all technical hardware requirements for testing dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) over 802.11p radio channels.
With the VN4610 and test tools like CANoe.Car2x, engineers can analyze messages that would otherwise be rejected by the ECU due to timing, geographical, or V2X protocol errors, as well latency. Unfiltered 802.11p radio messages are received, time and position stamped using a built-in GNSS receiver, and routed to ECUs as time-synchronous CAN-FD packets.
The VN4610 provides a USB interface for easy access to 802.11p and CAN-FD networks.
