Intel, wolfSSL, Curtiss-Wright, and SYSGO are collaborating to develop next-generation COTS solutions that prioritize safety, security, and innovation in aerospace and industrial industries. By utilizing each company’s strengths, the partnership delivers high performance ruggedized environments that ensure compliance with safety and security standards for mission-critical applications, without requiring specific software, therefore reducing time to market.

Klein-Winternheim, Germany. SYSGO announced its support of Intel’s 13th Gen Intel Core processor family (formerly named Raptor Lake) functional safety-capable SoCs (System on a Chip) with its PikeOS RTOS and Hypervisor. SYSGO’s PikeOS is recognized for its security certifications promoted within various industries.

SYSGO released its support for RISC-V via its embedded Linux ELinOS version 7.2. The platform fully supports Microchip's PolarFire SoC Icicle. The ratification also sees fixes for the 2038 bug for all architectures.

SYSGO, the leading European provider of real-time operating systems for safety-critical embedded applications, will participate in Embedded World 2024, taking place from April 9th to 11th in Nuremberg, Germany. SYSGO is going to present several innovations, comprising a Cobot robotics solution for the industrial market leveraging on PikeOS's ability to enable functionally safe and cyber-secure applications and can be found at booth 4-126.

SYSGO's RTOS PikeOS and hypervisor reached the highest-level of space safety standard ECSS-E-ST-40C (Category A) for the first time. PikeOS' hypervisor functionality combines heterogenous systems allowing for the design of mixed-critical platforms saving costs, space, energy, and weight. According to the company, flight control, gateway, and monitoring can safely and securely run simultaneously in time and space.

SYSGO released version 1.1 of its real-time operating system, PikeOS for MPU. It will now support the Dahlia NG-Ultra system-on-a-chip (SoC) that leverages ARM-R52 cores and version 11.3 of the Gnu Compiler Collection. An added benefit is the ability to change the DDR memory without the need for adjustments with the Board Support Package (BSP). Another key highlight is an enhanced debug information view.
