Malicious actors – generally professionalized criminals or state attackers – are out to obtain confidential information, gain access to systems in order to control them, or damage them to such an extent that they are no longer operational.

Santa Clara, USA, Klein-Winternheim, Germany. SYSGO and Intel are partnering and releasing the PikeOS support for Intel x6000FE series Atom(r) processors. PikeOS supports the requirements for reliable and secure computing environment. It meets IEC 61508 safety standard for rigorous functional safety in such applications as connected robots and flow control systems in the chemical market.

Klein-Winternheim, Germany. Thales Alenia Space will be integrating PikeOS (RTOS) for MPU into a telecom family branded SPACE INSPIRE (software defined telecommunication satellite). The decision was made based on the performance of PikeOS including various individual levels of security (MILS) and ECSS level B qualified base for critical systems. 

Klein-Winternheim, Germany. The safety certifiable Simulink has been embedded with PikeOS, a real-time operating system and hypervisor. Simulink is a modeling software extension from Matlab ideal for designing technical-physical and financial mathematical models. The models are translated into binary by way of Matlab's Embedded Coder and executed through PikeOS.

Klein-Winternheim, Germany. SYSGO's Separation Kernel PikeOS 5.1.3, a MILS based (Multiple Independent Levels of Security) real-time operating system and hypervisor, received security accreditation standard Common Criteria (CC), ISO 15408. SYSGO achieved level EAL 5+, based on its application processor architectures (ARMv8, x86-64 and PPC). The PikeOs was devised semi formally and verified against intricate vulnerabilities.
