Codasip and SiliconArts, provider of photo-realistic ray tracing graphics rendering, have combined Codasip’s RISC-V processor IP and SiliconArts ray tracing GPUs for the development of augmented reality applications.

Codasip, announced that it is making its 32-bit L31 core accessible with the Professional Edition of the Intel® Pathfinder for RISC-V* program. Codasip is moving its embedded RISC-V technology for prototyping, production design, and research purposes using Intel FPGAs.

Codasip announced that quantum-resistant secure tools from Veridify Security Inc. are now available to support Codasip’s RISC-V processors with a secure-boot function.

Winners have been chosen based on a 15-point rubric that considers solutions’ Design Excellence (5 points), Relative Performance (5 points), and Market Impact/Disruption (5 points).

The L31 is a small, efficient 32-bit embedded RISC-V processor core aimed at embedded systems with more modest processing requirements.
