Spectre, Meltdown, and Tortuga Logic's Hardware Security Verification at Arm TechCon
The Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilties resulted from speculative execution, designed to satisfy our need for speed. These could have been prevented through the use of hardware security verification, a technology that works in conjunction with traditional verification techniques to detect security vulnerabilities. Dr. Jonathan Valamehr, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Tortuga Logic explains the technology and its potential to Brandon Lewis, Editor-in-Chief of Embedded Computing Design.
