Arduino’s co-founder, Massimo Banzi, presented The Ultimate Arduino Challenge aimed at engineers at embedded world.
The challenge is comprised of three categories: Data Collection, Industrial IoT, and Anything Goes.
Data Collection requires gathering data using an Arduino board and various sensors.
Industrial IoT involves designing a product that connects to its surroundings.
The Anything Goes category is self-explanatory where engineers can submit any type of Arduino-based design that must include a description and system diagram.
Projects will be based on votes of Supplyframe community members during the four-month contest, and a panel of judges will pick the top three winners.
The prizes are as follows:
Grand prize: a trip to Turin, Italy to tour the Arduino factory
Second place: a trip to a 2019 Microchip MASTERs conference
Third place: $500 in gift certificates to the Tindie maker marketplace
As many as 500 finalists will receive Arduino boards. Good luck!
