IoT Roadshow, Milpitas, CA – Silicon Motion: Dazzle users with embedded graphics
Silicon Motion develops technologies for the embedded graphics subsystem within your IoT device. According to Arthur Lee, a director at the company, they do this by developing a series of SoCs that contain all the magic that’s necessary to give your graphics the boost they need to be a differentiator in the end product. It’ll even operate at high resolutions if that’s what is required. In the video, you’ll see the company’s Osprey board, which contains outputs for HDMI and DVI. Through a daughterboard connection, the options grow substantially.
