Trion FPGAs can now synchronize and process images from multiple cameras or sensors over MIPI CSI-2 interfaces.
Efinix has integrated multiple, hardened MIPI CSI-2 transmitter and receiver controllers into its 13K-120K logic element Trion FPGAs. Using the MIPI D-PHY physical layer, Trion FPGAs can now synchronize and process images from multiple cameras or sensors over MIPI CSI-2 interfaces.
Based on Efinix’ low-power Quantum architecture, the integration of new MIPI technology makes the Trion programmable devices applicable to use cases ranging from simple bridging or data pre-processing/acceleration to complex video processing and artificial intelligence (AI).
The Trion platforms target mobile, machine vision, automotive, robotics, and other markets.
The Trion T20 MIPI Development Kit is available now from Efinix at www.efinixinc.com/t20mipi. The new FPGAs will also be on display at MIPI DevCon Taipei.
