December 06, 2022Munich, Germany. Infineon Technologies AG partnered with 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) specialist pmdtechnologies to release the IRS2975C imager sensor a performance update of the IRS2875C. The IRS2975C contains a half-quarter video graphics array (HQVGA) resolution of 240 x 180 pixels with a chip size of 18 mm 2 for a 1/6" image circle.

Targeting photovoltaic string inverter applications (1500 V DC solar string inverters), the series reaches 352 kW and a 40% improved increase in power output when juxtaposed with previous generation models. The robust F3L600R10W4S7F_C22 comprises of advanced three-level NPC (ANPC) topology, 1200 V CoolSiC Schottky diode, 950 V TRENCHSTOP IGBT7 chip technology for up to 600 A.

November 15, 2022Munich, Germany. 9 November, 2022 – At electronica 2022, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) launches the XMC7000 microcontroller (MCU) family for advanced industrial applications including industrial drives, electrical vehicle (EV) charging, two-wheel electrical vehicles and robotics. The XMC7000 series offers single and dual core options of 350-MHz 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 and a 100-MHz 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0+, up to 8 MB of embedded flash and 1 MB of on-chip SRAM. The products operate from 2.7 to 5.5 V and achieve full specification from -40°C to 125°C.

Both the 8-and 16-bit memories focus on non-volatile data-logging needs for the next-generation automotive and industrial systems to mitigate data loss at the edge. Also featured is a wide voltage operation from 1.71 V to 3.6 V, support up to 54-MBps of data throughput over a low-pin count interface, and offered in a RoHS-compliant, 24-ball FBGA package.
