Sequitur Labs’ EmSPARK 2.0 Security Suite Now PSA Certified

Sequitur Labs announced that its EmSPARK 2.0 Security Suite has been PSA certified.
This ensures the company’s product conforms to internationally recognized security principles and practices.
PSA Certified, which was co-founded by Arm, Brightsight, CIACT, Prove & Run, Riscure, TrustCB, and UL, provides security evaluations comprised of a multi-level scheme that’s aligned to NIST and ETSI cybersecurity baseline requirements.
According to a company press release, the testing is based on third-party lab evaluation that builds trust through independent checking of generic IoT platform components, including the PSA Root of Trust (source of integrity and confidentiality), the system software and the device application.
EmSPARK was designed to assist security solutions in applications such as industrial control, building automation, smart homes, machine vision, and more.
By obtaining the title of PSA Certified, the company is able to provide a demonstrable level of capabilities to device manufacturers that use EmSPARK’s embedded firmware, keys and security-critical assets.
EmSPARK uses the Arm TrustZone architecture extension to create security environments for critical device data and applications.
