Kudelski Group announced the integration of its IoT Security Platform with the GSMA?s IoT SAFE capability (IoT SIM Applet for secure end-to-end communication).

Kudelski Group announced the integration of its IoT Security Platform with the GSMA’s IoT SAFE capability (IoT SIM Applet for secure end-to-end communication). The integration will enable IoT device manufacturers and IoT service providers to leverage the SIM as a scalable and standardized hardware Root of Trust to protect IoT data communications.

The integration of the security platform supports key features of the GSMA guideline and specification, supporting both pre-shared keys and PKI implementations. Kudelski’s platform will provision the SIM with long-term secret keys and manage the lifecycle of security credentials. The group will enable remote management functionalities and cloud platform onboarding; authorization of premium device features; remote attestation, and more.

The Kudelski IoT Security Platform provides end-to-end protection from silicon to cloud for IoT devices It provides device security, data security, access management, and active security to safeguard the entire product lifecycle. The Platform has already been adopted by communication service providers and consumer electronics, medical, asset tracking and industrial IoT partners and clients.
