Aachen, DE. Ka-Ro announces the TX6UL Computer-on-Module Development Kit. Freescale’s new energy-efficient processor features a single ARM Cortex-A7 core delivering speeds up to 528 MHz with low-power operation and industrial temperature ranges.
The extremely compact dimensions of the module (68 x 26mm) and the standard TX interfaces ensure ease of integration into product designs. Target application areas for this new cost-effective module can be found in industrial gateways and hubs, portable medical devices, building controls or ATM and POS devices.
Ka-Ro offers a development kit with capacitive touch display, schematics and BOM as well as Linux BSP with i.MX 6UL device drivers. Complete hardware and software support are included in the kit, which is available globally through Ka-Ro’s distribution partners.
