Germantown, MD, February 21, 2018 –Barr Group CTO Michael Barr will speak in two free 30-minute live presentations highlighting results from the 2018 Embedded Systems Safety & Security Survey at Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany on February 27 and 28.  Hosted by Open Systems Media, Michael will highlight the latest findings and trends on the state of embedded systems design for safety and security.

Now in its fourth year, the Embedded Systems Safety & Security Survey assesses the state of embedded systems design from around the world.  The 2018 survey was completed by more than 1,700 qualified respondents (46 percent from North America, 33 percent from Europe, and 10 percent from Asia).  In addition to providing annual statistics on design practices for current projects, this year’s survey analysis report will also include trend data, providing insight on the industry’s progress when it comes to implementing the best practices for developing safe and secure products.

The 2018 Embedded Systems Safety & Security Results Presentations will take place in the Open Systems Media Embedded Pavilion, located in Hall 3A, Stand 507 at the following times:

• February 28, 2018 (11:00AM–11:30AM CET): 2018 Embedded Systems Security Survey Results
