He has a Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering in Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, with a stage at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. With previously more than fifteen years of experience as Hardware Engineer, he has worked for companies such as Pirelli and Teldat. He has been working the last ten years as Field Application Engineer (FAE) for KDPOF, where he has focused on applications for high-speed optical communications in harsh environments.

As the challenges of multi-gigabit increase, costs should not increase at the same scale. Optical provides a low-cost, robust, and reliable solution for the in-vehicle wiring system. Optical’s EMC superior performance prevents the need for heavy, bulky, expensive cables with rigid and age-prone shielding. The inherent galvanic isolation of optical fiber solves the ground loop issues and the return currents through cable shielding.
