Digi International released the Digi IX20, an industrial router that provides adaptable, right-sized connectivity in industrial infrastructure, location monitoring, and unattended retail applications.
“Industrial IoT applications and unattended retail operations continue to be a priority for Digi," said vice president of product management at Digi International Brian Kirkendall, in a press release. "We remain focused on solutions that bring flexibility, reliability, and security. The IX20 extends that commitment with an industrial-grade router that offers multiple connectivity paths, a secure OS, and edge intelligence.”
Per the company, Digi IX20 can be integrated with the Digi Remote Manager, an IoT device monitoring application. It ‘unlocks’ IX20’s full potential, simplifying its data-driven insights and performance of the router.
Further it uses Digi CORE plug-in modems, which allows user-selectable connectivity while providing the ability to change and upgrade connectivity protocols without the need to replace the router.
Digi IX20 is both certified and available for use in U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Columbia.
