Winmate Inc., a global leader in developing rugged computing solutions for industries operating in some of the most challenging environments, launches a brand-new 8-inch rugged tablet M900P.
The M900P is designed to withstand industrial use while providing high tech solutions that increase productivity, improve safety, and reduce operational costs. The tablet operates in temperature ranged from -10°C to 50°C, it is IP65-rated for water and dust resistance, and meets the requirements of military standard MIL-STD-810G that guarantee shock, vibration and drop resistance.
The processing power comes from Intel's Apollo Lake processor paired with genuine Intel's graphics for high performance. The M900P supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating system. The tablet features a brilliant 8-inch projected capacitive touch screen, which is outdoor viewable and offers a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Weighing at just 2.2 pounds (approx. 900 grams) the M900P delivers lightweight mobility in a rugged form factor.
For wireless connectivity, the tablet comes with built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and GLONASS. The 4G/ LTE are available by request. The tablet also features 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED light and 2 MP webcam for video calls. Additional options such as barcode reader, RFID and MSR/ ENV readers are available for excessive data collection applications.
One of the most unique features of the M900P is its custom-made accessory for vehicle automation applications. The vehicle gateway VG-100 is an optional accessory; it allows connecting the tablet directly to a vehicle ECU for data transfer.
