Vecow announced the release of the DVC-1000, its newest product of embedded vision cameras with an industrial-grade 3D vision camera. Powered by Intel’s RealSense technology, it provides natural interaction and immersion with stereo image sensing technologies for vision-based application.
Further, the DVC-1000 features an IP67-rated enclosure and operates within temperatures of 0°C to 40°C to allow the deployment of industrial applications in harsh environments.
It also features depth resolution up to 720P, a frame rate up to 60fps, and a global shutter sensor.
The 3D vision camera is based on the mention global shutter sensor, and because of this the system can be used to capture images with a working distance of up to 10M at a rapid movement sequence. It’s operates with an Arm-based processor and can support edge computing at the edge.
Measuring just 112.6mm x 106.6mm x 43.0mm, the small footprint design suits the device for space constrained application such as robot vision and AMR.
Additionally, it offers the choice of 12V DC-in or electric power through PoE via a single cable.
