G+D Mobile Security's eSIM Technology is Integrated into the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features integrated eSIM technology supplied by G+D Mobile Security.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, launched on Feb 14, 2020, features integrated eSIM technology, supplied by  G+D Mobile Security. The smartphone is equipped with an eUICC (embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card) which is permanently fitted into the smartphone and equipped with the eOS (embedded operating system) from G+D Mobile Security. Users can download their SIM profiles onto this chip, "over the air."

G+D Mobile Security's eOS meets all current GSMA eSIM requirements for consumer device interoperability.

The eSIM technology facilitates over-the-air activation of mobile network contracts for users, eliminating the need to order SIM cards when a new contract commences or when they change providers. There is no more grappling with different formats either, users can activate a local mobile network provider in the process.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip with G+D Mobile eSIM technology is available. eSIM availability of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip may vary by region and carrier.
