TDK Corporation has enhanced its series of multilayer varistors with the new AVRH10C101KT1R1NE8 for automotive Ethernet. The product includes a low capacitance of 1.1 ± 0.3 pF, yielding signal integrity at high data rates of automotive Ethernet.

The newest varistor safeguards automotive ECUs and components from ESD sans interfering with high speed communication between ECUs.

TDK has plans to increase the product lineup in terms of efficiency, operating voltage, and capacitance to maintain the gamut of automotive device designs.
