SK hynix Inc. released its Gold S31 solid-state drive (SSD), the company’s inaugural SuperCore series of consumer SSDs, an internal drive lineup based on SK hynix’s core technology.

SK hynix’s Gold S31 is conducive for all PC users, including gamers, designers and content creators, offering sequential read speeds up to 560MB/s, dependability and a five-year warranty.

The compact 2.5-inch drive maintains the SATA III interface based on 3D NAND Flash technology, which is also obtainable in 1TB, 500GB and 250GB capacities on Amazon U.S. for now, but is projected to expand to other North American and European markets starting in 2020, when a PCIe version of the SSD is also anticipated.
