March 02, 2021
Press Release
The company prepares to virtually showcase its products and services.
Embedded world Exhibition & Conference, the leading international tradeshow for embedded system technologies, is coming back this year in a new, unprecedented format: it will be a completely digital event, running from March 1st to 5th 2021. SECO, an established company in the field of innovation and technological integration and a proud long-term exhibitor at the event, confirms its presence again this year and is ready to welcome visitors to its virtual booth 24 hours a day.
SECO's virtual booth will showcase the company's product and services portfolio, ranging from single microcomputers to systems and software platforms, to highlight its role as a strategic partner in the digital transformation and IoT evolution of businesses. Starting from Edge platforms, which are already embedded in best-in-class finished products throughout various industries and provide a competitive advantage to customers and their end users. On top of standard modules and SBCs, SECO offers custom design solutions, providing full support to best meet the customer's needs and taking care of the entire production cycle, from development and design to manufacturing.
Embedded world DIGITAL will be an opportunity to introduce the CHPC-C77-CSA, SECO's COM-HPC® Client module Size A with the 11th Generation Intel® Core™ and Celeron® processors (formerly Tiger Lake UP-3). Its combination of speed, high-powered Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics, AI acceleration and hardware support for real-time computing makes it ideal for critical applications that demand vision, voice, or text recognition alongside processing power. The CHPC-C77-CSA provides the infrastructure to leverage AI-specific features of 11th Gen Intel® Core™ and Celeron® processors at the edge and allows customers to benefit from new COM-HPC® connectivity standards for demanding IoT applications.
There will also be room for the SM-C93, a SMARC® Rel. 2.1.1 compliant module with the Intel® Atom® x6000E Series and Intel® Pentium® and Celeron® N and J Series processors (formerly Elkhart Lake). Designed and optimized for Functional Safety (FuSa) applications, the SM-C93 offers flexibility, reliability, and safety in a single small package, targeting IoT applications in a wide range of industries, from healthcare to manufacturing.
The Qseven® standard will be represented by the Q7-C26, a Qseven® Rel. 2.1 compliant module based on NXP i.MX 8 Applications Processors. This solution features rich m2m interface to control onboard subsystems and broad connectivity, taking advantage of the wide scalability offered by Qseven® form factor and the i.MX 8 family.
Coming to AMD-based products, the SBC-C90 is a 3.5" SBC featuring the AMD Ryzen™ Embedded R1000 / V1000 family of SOCs. Its powerful performance is enhanced by the board's broad connectivity and the AMD Radeon™ Vega GPU, which makes it particularly suitable for digital signage, edge computing, gaming, HMI, and industrial automation.
SECO is also the ideal partner for system integration, with services ranging from pre-installation of customer software to the assembly of touch displays and mechanical parts for the creation of off-the-shelf Human Machine Interfaces and boxed PC systems, all the way to the design and production of tailor-made products.
SECO's portfolio of edge systems will be represented by Flexy Vision 21.5, to be launched at embedded world DIGITAL. This embedded Panel with 21.5" LCD display, resolution 1920x1080, is based on the Intel® Atom™ X Series and Intel® Celeron® J / N Series (formerly Apollo Lake) Processors and comes with Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 500 series controller, with up to 18 Execution Units. These features ensure excellent computational and graphics performance, that combined with the product's connectivity and easy installation make it an extremely flexible solution.
Edge platforms are just part of SECO's offering, which is complemented by One-Stop Software Solutions. SECO can follow and support its customers in a complete path from Edge to AI, as a strategic partner to which companies of any size can entrust their digital transformation and IoT evolution.
Thanks to the expertise of SECO Mind, the division that brings together the group's wide-ranging know-how in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, IoT and data orchestration, customers are allowed to be IoT ready through connected hardware, device manager, data analysis and AI apps.
SECO Mind recently launched Clea, the software-as-a-service that gathers data onsite, transfers it to the cloud, and makes it usable through real-time analysis to provide information capable of making the difference in business processes. Clea is a combination between the Easy Edge microcontroller and the AI Suite solution. Upon subscribing to Clea, SECO retrofits the customer's machines with Easy Edge Microcontroller, getting its AI-powered product ready in just weeks. The integration of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Edge and cloud computing services through a single device and dedicated suite represents an opportunity for business growth, by optimizing efficiency, strengthening productivity, and minimizing maintenance times and costs.
