Five Minutes With…Christian Legare, President, IPSO Alliance
IPSO is a standards organization that doesn’t do standards. Huh? Well, that’s sort of accurate. This week, I spoke to Christian Legare, who is the President and Chairman of the IPSO Alliance, and he was able to put it into a context for me that made sense. It’s all about protocols and technologies that work seamlessly. We discussed some standards in general, or others specifically, like Thread, and Christian explained how IPSO plays a role in identifying the various components that a designer needs to be concerned with.
