Sensors and embedded systems are at the core of IoT – a market expected to reach $267 Billion by 2020. New technologies, platforms, and protocols are pushing the boundaries and expanding opportunities, however, they are increasing design complexities and interoperability issues. Cost of improper design and faulty implementations have huge ramifications and the need for education and training has never been so important. With this in mind, the first annual event will feature more than 30 educational and training sessions, covering six key tracks:
• AI & Machine Learning for Industrial Applications
• Automotive Applications
• Designing for Industrial IoT Applications
• New & Emerging Wireless Protocol
• Secure Your Embedded System
• Test Your Embedded/Industrial/IoT System
Five pre-conference symposium tracks will offer practical guidance for designers and implementers including:
1. Adopt the Right LPWAN For Your Application
2. Digital & Analog Power Solutions for Embedded Systems
3. Rtos 101
4. How to Write, Compile & Debug the Most Efficient (and Most Secure) C/C++ Code
5. Security Bootcamp
“We are excited about the opportunity to exhibit at the Embedded Technologies Expo & Conference,” said Bob Kupyn, Sales Manager, Lauterbach. “The focused conference tracks will draw engineers looking for the best ways to design, implement, and test their IoT and embedded devices. We look forward to demonstrating and discussing our design and debug capabilities to a very knowledgeable group of engineers.”
The event will also feature dynamic, hands on training workshops sponsored by Bluetooth, Texas Instruments, Trusted Computing Group, Microchip, and STMicroelectronics focusing on:
• The Importance of Interoperability in Expanding the Role of Wireless in Embedded and Sensor Based Solutions, hosted by Bluetooth
• Let’s Build in Security: A Workshop to Secure Embedded and IoT Systems, hosted by Trusted Computing Group
• 15.4 – Sensor Network, hosted by Texas Instruments
• Discover the New STM32WB, a Multi-Protocol Dual-Core Wireless MCU Supporting BLE, Thread and Zigbee, hosted by STMicroelectronics
“Unlike other conferences, the Embedded Technologies Expo & Conference gets right to the heart of the technologies that make up today’s leading-edge applications, like AI and machine learning and industrial automation,” said Rich Nass, Executive Vice President, Embedded and IoT at OpenSystems Media. “We are enthusiastic about helping to produce an educational event dedicated to serving the needs of this audience through a real-world challenges and solutions approach, covering the latest technologies across compelling keynotes, interactive panel discussions and engaging workshops.”
