January 24, 2019. Embedded Computing Design has re-hired Alix Paultre to oversee its Analog and Power group and serve as the brand’s Embedded European Editor. For the past 20 years, Paultre has served as a leading authority on the power, analog, and embedded electronics industries, working with media companies including Electronic Products, Advantage Business Media, Power Systems Design, and, most recently, AspenCore.
"Embedded Computing Design continues its expansion in Analog and Power, plus Alix cements our position in Europe as a leading global media company,” said Patrick Hopper, President of OpenSystems Media. “Alix will start immediately and have a large presence at Embedded World and other global events.”
"Embedded Computing Design is one of the few remaining independent media companies and they’re dedicated to expanding their editorial coverage in the key market segments that I cover,” stated Alix Paultre. “I look forward to reengaging with the team and continuing my editorial contributions on power, analog, embedded, and related industries, and growing Embedded Computing Design’s footprint in Europe.”
With the addition of Paultre, Embedded Computing Design’s Power Page newsletter will be delivered on a weekly cadence beginning in March 2019. Embedded Computing Design also plans to increase its coverage of the European market, as well as technology areas such as RF, wireless, and test.
Alix currently resides in Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany, and will be representing Embedded Computing Design/OpenSystems Media at the upcoming Embedded World tradeshow in Nuremberg, Germany.
