Waiting for Embedded AI? It’s Too Late: Hear From Miller Chang, President, Embedded IoT, Advantech
If you thought Artificial Intelligence in embedded systems was still years away, you'd be wrong. Just as embedded IoT devices are getting connected to the cloud through middleware like Advantech WISE-PaaS, new compute platforms such as Movidius VPUs have hit the market that allow IoT OEMs and integrators to perform AI inferencing at the edge.
Miller Chang, President of the Embedded IoT Business Unit at Advantech, explains how Advantech was first to market with Intel® Movidius VPU-based embedded hardware platforms, and how the technology is already being applied in markets like retail and smart cities through the company's solution-ready packages (SRPs).
