Avnet will demonstrate the Raspberry Pi-powered SmartEdge Industrial IoT Gateway, Azure Sphere MT3620 Starter Kit, its SmartEdge Agil IoT device, and Music: Not Impossible wearable.
PHOENIX, AZ. Avnet will demonstrate several IoT and AI development platforms at CES 2019, including the Raspberry Pi-powered SmartEdge Industrial IoT Gateway, Azure Sphere MT3620 Starter Kit, its SmartEdge Agile IoT device, and Music: Not Impossible wearable.
The Avnet SmartEdge IIoT Gateway is a customized Raspberry Pi system designed for industrial automation uses cases that require robust security. This is complemented by the company’s SmartEdge Agile IoT device, which leverages STMicro’s STM32 MCU and Octonion Branium AI software to enable machine learning-based predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and other applications.
The company will also showcase the Azure Sphere MT3620 Starter Kit, a Microsoft Azure-based platform featuring a range of microcontroller, sensor, and connectivity solutions.
Finally, Avnet’s Music: Not Impossible wearable will be on display. Music: Not Impossible generates tactile vibrations from live music so that deaf people can experience concerts and other events. The wearable consists of a vest, wristbands, and ankle bands based on “Vibrotextile” technology.
These and other Avnet solutions will be on display at Avnet’s CES 2019 booth, number 2609 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort.
