Supported by a long-term roadmap, VHub AI Developer and Vecow AI Solution Services provide customers a foundation for reducing engineering effort and shortening time to market.
“AI models are diverse and complex, and AI vision solutions are difficult to duplicate,” said Kev Wang of the Embedded System & Platform Division at Vecow. “Vecow AI Solution Services are are designed to accelerate AIoT deployment and development in various verticals such as machine vision, smart retail, smart parking, access control and more. VHub AI Developer delivers customers a way to maintain a lower total cost of ownership.”
Vecow AI Solution Services: AI Computing Series
Vecow AI Computing Series platforms support the company’s AI Solution Services and VHub AI Developer in a portfolio of scalable, deployment-ready vision processing hardware targets.
Available across a range of performance, power envelopes, and form factors, the AI Computing Series platforms are capable of supporting demanding AI-enabled vision workloads in a range of environmental conditions and use cases.
- ECX-1000/1200/1400 series - Featuring 9th/8th generation Intel® processor technology, the ECX-1000/1200/1400 Series of expandable, fanless, and rugged embedded systems provide almost limitless options to scale functionality. Across the portfolio users will find multiple PCIe expansion slots, six GbE LAN support, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, COM ports, isolated digital I/O, and even front-access SSD trays. Options include from additional interfaces to GPU-based co-processors, while all systems are integrated in rugged, extended temperature (-40ºC to +55ºC) packages.
- GPC-1000 – Based on 8-core 9th generation Intel® Core™ or Xeon® processors and featuring dual NVIDIA® GPUs or AMD® Radeon™ graphics, GPC-1000 GPU computing systems are ideal for accelerating AI-based vision solutions. Alongside up to 64 GB of high-speed DDR4 RAM, 4x PCIe expansion slots, and high-throughput wired (Gigabit Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi, 4G, 3G, LTE, GPRS, UTMS supported) connectivity, the platforms also support a 1500W power budget and 80V surge protection that allows them to be used in a variety of applications.
- RMS-1000 Series – The first 1U Rackmount System from Vecow, the RMS-1000 Series is powered by a quad-core 8th generation Intel® Core® processor, up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, and an 8-port GbE LAN brought out through six x-coded M12 connectors. In addition, a fanless design, -40°C to 70°C operating temperature range, and compact form factor allow the RMS-1000 to be deployed as in-vehicle compute servers, for example.
- IVH-9204MX ICY – Fully EN50155:2017- and EN45545-2 certified, Vecow’s Intel® Xeon® or Core™ processor-based IVH-9204MX ICY is outfitted with six independent GbE LAN ports that interface through four x-coded M12 connectors and three external SIM sockets for Wi-Fi/4G/3G/LTE/GPRS/UMTS connectivity. The IVH-9204MX ICY also provides six front-accessible SSD/HDD drive trays that deliver up to 24 TB of easily-accessible storage. The platform also accepts a 16V to 160V power inputs backed by 4 kV DC isolation, 500V surge protection, and configurable ignition power control that make it an ideal fit for rolling stock applications.
“The Vecow GPC-1000 is equipped with 9th Intel® Xeon®/Core™ processor with a workstation-grade Intel® C246 chipset for powerful computing capabilities, as well as advanced Intel® UHD Graphic 630 that provides up to 8K resolution for displays used in object detection applications,” Kev Wang said.
“EN50155 and EN45545-2 certificates ensure the safe, reliable operation of electronic systems deployed in trains,” said Joseph Huang, Sales Manager, Sales & Marketing Division at Vecow. “The IVH-9204MX ICY embraces both to bring safety for customers.”
In addition to embedded world booth Hall 1 Booth No. 1-440, Vecow will also be exhibiting at Hall 4 Booth No. 4-639 (Taiwan V2X Smart Vehicle Solution Pavilion).
