Audio is added to emUSB-Host at runtime to minimize memory footprint.
SEGGER has added audio support to its emUSB-Host connectivity stack, allowing embedded systems with a USB host interface to access a range of audio peripherals. Audio is added to emUSB-Host at runtime to minimize memory footprint.
With the addition of audio to emUSB-Host, embedded systems can take advantage of plug and play peripherals similar to a desktop PC. Multiple devices can be connected simultaneously, such as USB hubs, microphones, speakers, headphones, USB-to-audio adapters, memory sticks, keyboards, mice, and so on.
