Texas Instruments' new Ethernet PHYs hit the Market

Transceivers include the smallest, lowest-power Ethernet PHY and the highest temperature-rated device for copper and fiber media.
DALLAS, TX. Texas Instruments (TI) released two new Ethernet physical layer (PHY) transceivers, the DP83825I and the DP83869HM.
The DP83825I comes in a small package and consumes very little power, as it allows designers to diminish the size and cost of compact IP network camera, lighting, electronic point-of-sale and other space-constrained applications sans compromising network range.
The DP83869HM operates at a high temperature (-40°C to 125°C) and its electrostatic discharge (ESD) immunity and support for media conversion improve performance and design flexibility in factory automation, motor drive and grid infrastructure equipment designs.
