Industrial monitors are commonly used as HMI units for visualization and monitoring purposes. The ambient conditions are often far away from ideal: vibrations, moisture, dust and direct sunlight require an industrial solution. For this ICP Deutschland offers its proven DM-F monitors inherently with an IP65 protected display front either as resistive or projective-capacitive LCD touch technology. The mounting in a complete IP65 protected aluminum housing and the different arm mounting variants (IP54, hanging or standing, swiveable and tilting) with an internal cabling combines ergonomics and optimum protection in harsh conditions. In contrary to the predefined “standard” solutions with 15”~ 24” display sizes the housing variants “customized” and “project” form a tailored HMI solution for users. The “customized” solutions offer additional rear panel options and an individual front panel design by mechanical expansions such as buttons or lead out interfaces. The “project” housing creates hereby the greatest freedom. It can be precisely manufactured for all available display sizes (6.5”~24”) even in small series. In this case free color selection of the housing coating and front plate is possible. ICP complements its arm monitor offer with a comprehensive service from the project planning including CAD files to sample deliveries and the final pre-assembly in a compatible housing.
