Press Release
Marvin Test Solutions released the GX3748 Series, a 48-channel threshold comparator card.
Marvin Test Solutions released the GX3748 Series, a 48-channel threshold comparator card.
The GX3748 features windowing and precision level detection for event monitoring and control solutions. Because it has user-programmable voltage threshold levels, triggers are able to be generated. This enables fast responses, especially when out-of-line test conditions happen.
For combining all 16 channels of comparator window functionality with 32 channels of threshold detection, the 50V input range is ideal. Further, the signal levels are able to be monitored on any of the mentioned 16 channels.
“The GX3748 Series is the ideal solution for applications requiring simultaneous monitoring of 10’s to 100’s of channels, coupled with the ability to respond rapidly when an event occurs,” said director of marketing at Marvin Test Solutions Jon Semancik, in a press release. “The ability to modify the instrument’s functionality, utilizing user programmable FPGA tools, further extends the no-compromise features of this card.”
Per the release, it incorporates a user configurable Intel/Altera Stratix III FPGA -based daughter card, leveraging Quartus or the license-free Quartus Prime Lite programming tools. Additionally, it houses the GxFPGA, a software package that includes a virtual intstrument panel, and a Windows® 32/64-bit DLL driver and documentation.
