dSPACE announced it has acquired Intempora, a real-time development software company. The acquisition supports the strengthening of dSPACE’s autonomous driving product portfolio. Prior to dSPACE’s purchase of Intempora, the company had already integrated RTMaps, the Intempora real-time multisensor application software, into dSPACE solutions.

RTMaps is a vital tool in the development of algorithms in autonomous vehicles. Per the companies, the software significantly simplifies engineer's efforts to capture, timestamp, synchronize, and replay data from various sensors, offering versatility and outstanding performance.

Solutions that compliment RTMaps include RTag, a data tagging software, and Intempora Validation Suite (IVS), a cloud-based data management platform for petabyters of recorded data.
