Five Minutes with…Nikolaos (Nic) Papadopoulos, President, u-blox America
They are a company known for its positioning technology. The question asked (and answered) is, what's the future of positioning technology, as it's clear that it’s a very desirable technology. U-blox is augmenting the technology to make it considerably more useful, and combining it with existing technologies.
We discussed the stance made by both Google and Apple on combining positioning and search technologies. If you get this part right, there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Finally, we discussed how positioning technology needs to be adapted based on geography.
